Faster than light travel and humanoid machines indistinguishable from real humans you believe but terminal cancer going into remission you don't? We learned how to use moldy bread to fight bacterial infections, who's to say that Cylon/human hybrid babies can't cure cancer? The hallucinations were cause by the Kamala (sp?) by the way, not the cancer

Yeah, but if both of their spines start glowing at the same time, they'll short-circuit and melt.

The way it was stated, it sounded like it would just happen on its own, not with external help...

Perhaps you're under the mistaken impression that this is real life. It's not, this all occurs on television, where they routinely do things that aren't believable.

I truly hope to see this over some lame "we did stem cell research in a week and a half" plot line. I'd even enjoy seeing Roslin's immune system bolstered from Admiral Adama's superhuman man-seed... because he's that good. :)

I would LOVE to see Mary McDonnell stay on the show... unfortunately, I would also like for the President to die, insetad of being save in the last minute by some miracle.

I think she will die in the season finale.

    Huh...

I had no idea we'd see a resolution in the next episode.

I voted for the wrong answer. :p

Aww, man. I can't believe I didn't see this thread until it was over.

Cylon/Human hybrid fetal blood cures cancer. In a matter of hours, no matter how far along the cancer is. Hmmm. Just seems too easy, if that makes sense.

I'm still watching this show but I've been disappointed the last couple of weeks.

Don't worry, I'm betting the "side effects" will kick after a few episodes... ;)

I just listened to the episode commentary podcast.

They actually had wanted to go the stem cell route, but decided it couldn't be adequately worked into the story. It would have involved surgeries and more technology than they wanted to delve into to fit it all in, and it was much easier to go with the less scientific, but effective-for-the-story method.
