Enjoyed the first 2 EPs even though the dubbing was pretty bad, did not realize you could turn on subtitles. Set in Berlin in 1929, it is not about the Nazis. The first 2 Eps focused mostly on the attempt to bring the Russian revolution into Germany. That and espionage, very elaborately produced musical/dance numbers and a porngraphy ring. From what I've read it is supposed to be pretty accurate historically.

I watched it a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty good.

The dubbing and the subtitles don't always match up. It was weird.

I quickly learned to ffwd through the song and dance bits. There weren't that many of them but still...

Watched the whole series, found it interesting. Mine was not dubbed, it was in German and subtitled.

I watched on Netflix and was able to choose German with subtitles. My only complaint is that it did not always keep the subtitles on screen long enough, especially when two characters were exchanging short comments. I used rewind more than I wanted to.

Still, I enjoyed it a lot and look forward to more seasons, but I like deliberately paced shows.

    From another forum:

"Season three is currently in post-production and will premiere this winter in Germany on Sky and later ARD, with territories following in 2020 including North America..."

(The trailer is in German but Auto-Translate is available.)
