Long time user and can't believe I don't know the answer but I am using HDMI from S3 to TV and want to have a seperate audio out to my stereo receiver. The stereo receiver has no digital input so I have to use rca cables. I have tried from the audio out on the Tivo and the TV and get no sound. Is analog audio out not supported ?

    Thanks,
    Warren

wouldn't this leave him with analog audio out through his HDMI to TV also? not that that will be noticeable, just wondering.

Thanks for the response but it did not do what I need. I want to send the av signal thru the HDMI to the tv and also send to the receiver via the rca audio out jacks. I can't get anything out of those audio out jacks or the audio out jacks on the tv.

    Thanks again,
    Warren

Hmm. It sounds like you have a defective S3. I have HDMI feeding my Plasma, and I simultaneously use the RCA Audio and Video outputs to feed a LCD TV in my Kitchen. It has worked fine for a year and a half.
