My only option for satellite tv at my apartment complex is through AT&T Home entertainment. They currently do not offer a receiver that is capable of recording shows and HD. Would it be possible to buy and HD Tivo/Receiver elsewhere, or should I just get the HD receiver from AT&T and purchase a Tivo seperately?

    Thanks for your help

Sorry, you have the wrong forum. This forum is for Directv receivers with Tivo software.

Well, I can't comment on that. However, I look to completely get away from AT&T in the future.
