bringing back this show would be so much better then 'Up All Night'
In reading the Reuters article, I noted that there hasn't been a network attached to the project yet. They can announce their plans to make the episodes but am going to hold off on being really excited about it until a network has been announced....and hope that it isn't something like the Reelz channel.
Thanks for posting this.
I really could not send along a Tweet to my friends as a source.
Netflix, Showtime looking at carrying it:
As long as the episodes are created, I don't care where they put them. As long as I can watch them on DirecTV or download off the internet, I'll be happy.
I'm cautiously optimistic.
There's always money in a new season of AD.
This would be a reason to hang on to my Netflix account....I'd be iffy on adding Showtime just for this though. If the finances are ok at that point, I might do it for a couple of months just to watch.
Nooooo! Then it will burn!
I am hoping the "one character per episode" comment means that one character will be highlighted in each episode, but it will still be the full ensemble.
This is bizarre, but good, news.
Bizarre? Me thinks you have mental problems.
Perhaps you should see an analrapist.
Running Wilde was so much better than "Up all Night"!
The short season will most likely be cancelled halfway through.
Maybe they're really only planning five episodes but announcing ten so they can "cancel" it as a publicity stunt.
awesome!!!!! hope it comes together!
The Home Builders Organization didn't want them?
Seriously, great news even if it is ten episodes.
As much as I loved AD, I have to wonder if too much time has gone by and whether fans will be expecting so much that they'll be disappointed no matter what they get.
And will the magic still be there (between the actors, the writing...)? Time has a way of changing things.
I remain hopeful.
Sign seen at the Wall Street protests...
Heee! Love that sign.
