My apologies if the question is redundant. Did a search and didn't find a definitive answer. So...

Is HD now global to all Premiere menus? I'm hoping so, because I just pulled the trigger on an XL.

No not all of the menus are in HD. For a lot of us you might not be able to use the HDUI because it is slow and/or reboots for no reason. I have mine set to the SDUI menu.

I have no problems on either of my Premieres using the HDUI. It moves at a pace that doesn't bother me, not too much slower than the SD menus. No spontaneous reboots.

I look forward to the day that all menus are HD... I hate switching in and out as I do tasks.

+1, although I did have many of the problems people mention when I first got my (3) Premieres. After a couple of months they all settled down and I haven't have any problems since.

Maybe it was an update or combination of updates, I don't know, but they all work fine now.

It will not happen with the series 4 Tivo maybe with the series 5 Tivo. As I said they to many owners that has problems with theirs. Tivo probably getting trouble calls up their a== asking when they are going to fix the problem. I a gave them a year to fix it but as now it not fixed. I bought a Ceton card to use so no more tivo's for me. If the Ceton card does work the way I like I'll jut keep what I got. Ether way I will not be buying any more tivo's. They got the Ipads ipod apps to work but not the HDUI.

If it can run on my five Premieres with no iossues they should be able to fix it. All my Premieres are launch boxes and I've not had any issues running the HD menus.

I figure they will finally release an update that has all the menus in HD on 12/20/12.:D

Just as long as they don't delete the option for SD menus I really don't care what TiVo does with their HDUI.

Hoping some day soon we see full HD Menus. I'm losing hope after having my 2 Premiers for over 4 months now.

How do you think those of us with launch Premieres feel? It's been over 17 months since they released the Premiere.
