I am a Vonage customer so I force a daily call to 2122773895 in New York as that is the only number that seems to work consistently, but still have not recieved the 6.3a update. I have a "succeeded" call status everytime but no love here in Colorado 809xx. Have any VONAGE customers that call that same number recieved 6.3a yet?

I did. I've had Vonage for over a year and I got the update about a week or two ago. I stopped calling the 2122773895 a couple of months ago and I call my local number which works fine.

If you are doing the dumb thing where you put 2122773895 in the calling prefix then I don't think you will ever get the update. Your box tries to call TiVo every day or two, but it also tries to call a DirecTV 800 number. If you have 2122773895 in the dialing prefix then when your box tries to call the DirecTV 800 number it will actually end up calling the 2122773895 number since Vonage sees that first since its the prefix.

If you don't make the call to the DirecTV 800 number you won't get the update nor will you be able to order PPV through the box.

I only recall calling the 800 number initially when getting a list of my local numbers. My dial in number is set to call my local number here in Colorado Springs 522-1176, however it never works with Vonage, thats why I call New York. So after reading this Forum, I set my Dial Prefix to ,#019,,12122773895 and it reports a successful call each time and keeps the Nag message away. With my prefix set up as such, will that not get the ball rolling for authorizing installation of the update?

You're set up exactly like I was (and still am currently) and I got the update over the weekend.

Best I can say is be patient, it'll come.

I have no idea how it would make any difference, but I set up the Dial in number with 12122773895 and left the prefix with ,#019,, forced a call and got "Pending Restart". (woot) Was Onazuka onto something or was it a coincidence?

I have vonage and i got the update last week.

My SAT-T60 naver makes successful calls though. I tried all of the dialing prefix tricks that Vonage gave me but none of them ever seemed to work.

So I never got the software updates for that unit, with folders and such.

I'm in Colorado Springs too VR4, area code 80917. I also dial into the New York number using Vonage. I finally got 6.3a last night. I got my first spontaneous reboot tonight. :(

I did a lot of research and testing on this, it was not a coincidence. I thought I explained it in my original post.

Huh? I'm a Sunrocket customer and I have now received the update on 4 HR10's without calling any 800 numbers.
