GOT returns this April! O happy day! I plan to watch all previous seasons over the next few months, then marathon the final season after it's aired, which I think should be late May. Really looking forward to this, I've only watched them all once, so this should be entertainment of the highest order. Certainly one of the greatest, most imaginative tv series of all time.

I was hoping to do an episode a day starting on Monday...but yesterday and today I'll miss out, so I'm only batting .500 so far!

I have to say, the 4K blu-rays are absolutely stunning, both picture and (Atmos) sound. VERY immersive! It will be just a little sad to get to Season 2 and have to "settle" for regular blu...although at least the Atmos will return around Season...5?

I might watch parts of the last season. No way in the world I want to go back to earlier seasons and relive the Reek/Ramsay episodes.

I'll probably go back and watch the last season on UHD BD that my son has. I've never sat down to see it that way, so I'll do that and at the same time, recap where we are now.

You are correct. It's on a standard BD, but with Atmos sound.

Yeah, they went Atmos with Season 5.

Not sure why they haven't done any more 4K...guess Season 1 didn't sell?

I'd do this if others in my family were interested, but wife doesn't care, and my daughter is 15, and probably not best show to share

    I'm a loser.

I find a list online of the best episodes and watch about 10 to 15 of those.

My favorite is Viper vs. Mountain.

I completely agree with that. I suppose one could simply FF through that, but it was truly horrible to have to sit through it the once.

We had planned to watch from the beginning before the new season airs, but I don't think we're going to have time to do that.

We still have the first half of the season saved up, will wait for the new season to almost end and probably rewatch the last ep or 2 from the season before, then the first half, and then the new half.

Not sure this is a show I could ever rewatch from start to finish, just such a beast!!!!

??? Not sure what you mean...there are no halves in GoT. Last season aired all at once; this season will air all at once (i.e., in X consecutive weeks).

Well season 7 I guess, we haven't watched yet, going to watch that and then 8 back to back

Weren't they going to do 1 big season and decided to split it into season 7 and 8? 7 and 6 eps vs the typical 10

I quit watching the show after season 3 maybe. Ever since, I keep thinking about going back to the show. This would probably be a good time to do it. Then I can keep up with the final season. I doubt I'll start over from the beginning though. I'll try to figure out where I left off at.

We definitely want to be finished with the previous seasons before the final season airs. We don't want to have to dodge spoilers.
