I was dissapointed by the episode about Morrocco. It was mainly about a bunch of decadent Europeans not Morroccans

I liked the Libya ep. It was good to see that there were people upbeat and happy now that Khadafy is gone. Hopefully they're thrive as a country and not end up as a country in anarchy.

It was interesting to see the buildings in Misrata and the destroyed buildings that were affiliated w/Khadafy.

I had no idea that there were such a large set of ruins from the Roman Empire that were in relatively good shape.

I would like to try that breakfast sometime.

It seems like the first airing of the new episode has real Guide Data and all the repeats have Generic Guide data. Exactly the right combination to screw up a FRO Season Pass. So I've been cleaning out the generics every few days.

Yeah, the generic listings have been real annoying. I had to look at http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/?hpt=hp_livenow last night.

I give up on this show as long as its on CNN or any news network for that matter. Love all the Bourdain shows but trying to get it on CNN has been frustrating. The only 2 I was able to record were Colombia and Korea-town. I must have deleted 50+ eps that were supposed to be the show but were something else. The first week was just bad timing I get that it was a busy news week. Last night was just crazy with about 20 recordings supposed to be this show but instead were the exact same ep of a Nancy Grace women behind bars show over and over again.

The reruns I did get were of the two I had already seen.

Yeah, I had basically the same frustration. It actually took me four times to get Koreatown. I finally ended up giving up and forgot about the show. So many times I thought I was recording the show and it would be something else of, I might add, NOT a 'breaking news' nature, that it just didn't seem worth the hassle.

Too bad. I like the show. Maybe I'll catch some more eps down the line.

I had to liberate some of the episodes off the interwebs since I didn't record the first airing.

CNN proudly bumped reruns of the show due to newsworthy happenings..

indeed. Nancy Grace visits a women's prison and a story on a plane crash that happened in like 1996.

I got all episodes. I started at the very beginning, setting up the SP before it first aired. From what I recall, all premier episodes aired in the primary time slot

Surprised there's been no chatter here for 3 years!

    I think they're up to season 7 now. There's a mini-marathon on tonight.

And, seasons 1-6 are available on Netflix streaming. Netflix is a season behind.

I finally watched the Antarctica ep. Prior to the ep, I had known virtually next to nothing about our presence there.

Anyone still watching? I have quite a few eps that I want to watch but it seems there's just not enough time in the day.

The schedule shows it for today

Of course, TiVo is NOT set to record it, as it thinks it recorded it last week.

    Manual recording set.

    I watched it.
It was mostly about Port of Spain and environs, and a bit about Tobago. I felt that too much airtime was given to the guy whose father helped bomb police HQ and overthrow the Government in 1990. Otherwise it was very authentic and accurate. However since I grew up in the south of the island, much of the food that was shown was not what I grew up with. Southern Trinidad tends to be a bit different. But it was pretty good.

By the way the cable companies in Trinidad and Tobago had no rights to air the show. They get CNN international which doesn't carry it, and since they stopped pirating the North American feed they don't get US CNN anymore.
