New 4K TV (Sony XBR65X850C) hooked up yesterday. I know the best my Roamio can output is 1080 on my HDMI cable and my TV should 'upscale' it to 4K. I have a few questions for anyone that has the same/similar combination.

    1. If I watch a Netflix 4K show from my Roamio, I'm limited to the 1080 output to my TV, based on Roamio's hardware, right?
    2. But, if I watch a Netflix 4K show from my Sony TV and wired internet connection then I should be displaying 4K, correct?
    3. Can't find it in the TV manual about up-scaling. Is this typically a feature that one has to 'turn-on' or is it likely that my TV is already up-scaling from my Tivo via my HDMI connection?
    4. I think I have a version 1.4 HDMI cable. Should I invest in a 2.x HDMI cable instead?

    Any help/answers are appreciated.

    1. Yes
    2. Yes, if you are paying the UHD upcharge on Netflix
    3. Your TV will scale everything to the native resolution of your panel. You cannot turn this off.
    4. I don't see why you would.
