I currently only have my TivoHD hooked up and scanned for the analog channels (no cable cards yet).

When I do get my cable cards installed - will those analogs be converted over to the digital SD equivalents?

Currently with any of my other FIOS boxes, the SD channels are broadcast digitally. The picture quality is decent enough for SD content.

When I view the analog channels coming from TiVo - the PQ is horrid.

Just curious if the PQ will match that of my FIOS boxes once my cable cards arrive and get programmed.

What happens is you end up with both versions.

It gets cumbersome (who needs 5 versions of one local channel) so what I did was disable all of the analog channels entirely - everything below 100. I didn't see any of them that didn't have a digital version.

Not true if your cable company implements ADS and/or has your account flagged as digital capable. You will see EITHER analog OR digital versions. Some channels may be both below and above 100 though.
