I saw somewhere that Julia Butters is such a huge movie star now that she quit and they had to replace her with Giselle Eisenberg from Life In Pieces to play Anna-Kat. It's the end of an era.

I haven’t seen anything to that effect at my usual TV news outlets.

If I recall correctly, that’s a pretty good recast.

Very interesting. I watch this show and I watched the other one (still sad it's gone), and I like both of these actors. But it's kind of a bummer to lose the original Anna Kat.

I agree, though I think they did a good job replacing her. I had no idea that the actress had become a star, though I do remember her in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and she was very good. I'm not sure I like what they did with the character. She was a quirky weird but endearing little girl and now, well she's kind of a typical tween girl.

meh, why watch butchered reruns, instead of watching full eps on hulu?
