That's very interesting. I had thought he was just joking around and didn't give it much thought. But if she's a ghost it would certainly address my 'why does she still care about selling the house?' question, above.

That wasn't on Halloween by any chance, was it?

Ryan Murphy did say "There are no rules in the ghost world."

Also, who was it that killed the developer that wanted to buy the house and demolish it? Wasn't it the maid? And that was at his house and it wasn't on Halloween.

I'm pretty sure both the maid (whose name is Moira, not Constance) and Tate both showed up at Constance's house.

And I reiterate, women aren't seeing Moira as she "really is." Moira died young. So "really," it's the men who are seeing her as she "really is." (But of course, nobody is...she's a rotting corpse under the gazebo.)

Based on article it seems as if this story line is wrapped up. I was hoping for some clarification on why some of the ghosts were viewed as they were when the died (burn victims) and some were not (Moira, Tate).

I also guess we just forget about the developer plot line -

I'm assuming they will continue the show with Constance and the devil baby that murders it's nanny. I can't believe they are just dropping that story line but this show has surprised me before so who knows.

What's left with the developers plot?

Constance went to the developers house and pleaded with him not to buy. He refused so she convinced the maid to "fix" the problem. The maid called him over for a quickie in the basement where she bit him and some other ghosts (or burned man) started to kill him. She told them to get him off the property before he expires. That way he wouldn't stay as a ghost.

I have been addicted to this show from the beginning. I am starting to come around to the finale slightly. Wasn't thrilled about the ending initially, but I guess I have to ask myself what else I would have wanted. I tend to be too logical and ask millions of questions ("what happened to the exterminator's truck?"), but I'm trying not to be so nit picky and just appreciate it for what it was.

Had a feeling I knew Ben's fate. Just had no idea it would occur that way or that soon in the finale. The happily ever after in the hereafter wrap-up seemed a little too contrived for me, though.

I'm reading articles stating that each season will be an entire new story, new location, new actors, with possible guest appearances of some original cast members in different roles. I guess I won't mind that, although it will seem odd.

Sadly, I guess we will never see Constance raising evil boy, or how that whole thing turns out. Sooner or later you'd think the cops would start tearing Murder House apart looking for bodies. But I suppose that is all left to our speculation now. :)

What about Constance's fourth child? Did we ever find out who it was? Was the Tate the "normal" one?

That was a fun ride. I really enjoyed this show. Liked the ending too.

Just kept wondering why someone hadn't burned that house to the ground before. And why was this house so special to begin with?

I think there are still some unanswered questions that I wonder if we will get an answer to even if they do move away from the house story.

    1. Where is Constance's fourth child? This makes me believe Constance will still be around and this child will be introduced.

    2. Why not just bulldoze the house?

    3. What happened to the house (or the land) to make it so damn special?

    4. Why hasn't anyone noticed the exterminators truck sitting out front?

    5. Does the Realtor specialize in haunted houses? She sells this house approximately once every 9-12 months. She must be making some pretty decent commissions. (Christine Estabrook is one of my favorite character actresses and hope she sticks around)
