That was the weirdest episode of AD yet. It would have made a good end to the series. I've never heard of "Cee Lo Green" before; I guess I am getting old.
Damn... that was an episode.
You so want to figure out how they'll reset everything by the end and it just ends like that.
Of course, I suppose some of the "secret CIA technology" stuff will come through in next week's episode. Then again, Fox has been fickle, and American Dad may have been canceled, then brought back a couple of years later a la Family Guy.
Strangest episode of American Dad ever.
How quickly we forget the Rapture episode from a couple years ago. And there was no reset button after that one, so as far as we know, everything since has been taking place in Stan's personal heaven.
I thought this was a pretty good episode. It took me halfway through to realize it was a Little Shop of Horrors parody.
The song near the end with Steve and Roger: Obviously a parody of some music video but I have no clue.
Also noticed that same music was to be available for download on iTunes or somewhere.
Screw that! I'll just transfer the episode to my computer and extract it from there.
I really enjoyed this episode a lot!
argh spoiler.. why did I open this thread?
(though I've got a ton of eps still queued up..)
That was pretty freaky! I didn't know about the possible series finale thing that Enrique mentioned. I think I need to watch it again.
I hope the show doesn't get cancelled. Still missing King of the Hill.
I did think it was strange that Stan and Francine died, but since it's an animated show with suspect continuity, I didn't think much of it.
I didn't realize this either. Are the ratings not good? I enjoy this show much more than The Cleveland Show and sometimes more than Family Guy.
Ratings are OK, not great. If either Allen Gregory or Napoleon Dynamite do well, we can expect this will be the final season for AD.
Yeah, I enjoy AD way more than Family Guy and the Cleveland Show (order of enjoyment from most to least).
Would be sad to see it go. At least it seems to be the only Seth MacFarlane show to not be based always on some outlandishly stupid or idiotic premise.
He says in a thread about an episode with a murderous hot tub.
I watched the episode and don't even remember them dying.
How did they die? I'm assuming the hot tub killed them somehow.
You mean like a talking goldfish or an alien who lives in the attic of a CIA operative? Yea, what's outlandish about that?
Yeah, what about how in the past someone explained how this show is almost exactly the same as Family Guy.. each character has a direct counterpart. (The same... except not as funny.. and I say this as someone who would consider myself a fan of American Dad.. but I let them pile up for a long time, whereas I usually watch Family Guy the same night.)
I love AD but hated this episode. Hate when cartoons sing.
I love both shows. From time to time, I actually find myself enjoying AD more. I re-watched a lot of it on Netflix and gained a new appreciation for it.
