Having misplaced my TiVo remote early this a.m., I discovered that although I've authorized TiVo skills on my Amazon Echo Dot, it apparently doesn't include a "Find my remote" recognition in which the remote plays the TiVo remote-finder tune so that the user can locate it. Wouldn't that make sense to have/be logical? (Watcha' think, @TiVo_Ted?)

There is a work-around, though: IFTTT has a "Find my remote" skill for Cortana (it doesn't seem to have one for Alexa, though, unless I missed it--please let me know if that's the case), and Alexa has a Cortana skill, and so one can daisy-chain the two together and ask Alexa to open Cortana and then ask Cortana to find the remote. (Or, if your Windows computer is handy and has Cortana operative on it, you just can do this directly via your computer and Cortana.)
