    Herndon,...
I loved the scene at the airport when Cindy was trying to get information from the father/son team and they were blowing her off. The look on her face was priceless. :)

When Cindy used the U-Turn and then said "This is for a Million Bucks!!!"... well I just rolled my eyes big time! All she got out of it was a trip to Tahiti (or wherever). Granted... that's pretty nice. But in no way did it advance her team's chances at the big prize (and there's no way to argue that she actually thought it would).

And I'm so glad the father is out of the race. :D

The director was sure trying to give the idea that Jeremy and Sandy were fighting over directions and getting lost, but I just didn't see it. They kept showing close-ups of Sandy and she just had an un-interested look on her face. I think they were trying to build tension in that scene and it just wasn't there.

Marcus is the luckiest player I've ever seen (besides Flo) on this show. The should have been gone ages ago. If they win it'll be a miracle.

They came this close to saying "I guess they don't like blacks in this country"... didn't they? :p

You can't say that "any disadvantage you create for them is temporary". That's not necessarily true. It may also end up knocking them out on that leg or putting them far enough behind that they will struggle on the next leg. It is smart and logical to give them any disadvantage you can (small, large, temporary or permanent).
And no, I don't give a care in the world if another team competing against me for a million dollars is "mad" at me.

Yeah, I was hoping the couple would get lost and still come in second.

I thought mom and pop handled the u-turn very well and once you have been u-turned you need to u-turn someone else for defensive purposes.

After seeing the preview for the next week's episode, I'm quite impressed with the Mom/Pop team -- They are more in shape then I ever gave them credit for - Not exactly your typical Teacher / Principal that I've seen. Go go Bill and Cathi!!

I was impressed at their physiques in the preview scene as well. They are in better shape than most of the other teams.

I had to stop and look... I thought it was green-screened!!! But when some of the other couples got up there it was obvious that it wasn't green-screened.

I guess farming is a better workout than I thought. Cathy looks better than most women half her age.

I loved the "pep talk" Marcus gave his rabbit before they did the course.

    People's...
well tossing haybales is no joke as I found out during a highschool summer job. No wonder farmers can't get jobs filled for manual labor.

    Speckles is a champ lop-ear. :)

I thought that quote was hilarious. Lawrence said he'd have been better at the dancing task because that was his forte. Yet Zac had done more Roadblocks, so Lawrence should have been doing this one to even things up. If he's better at dancing, and he's behind in the Roadblock count, then he has nobody but himself to blame for letting Zac do it.

Also, this might be the first time I remember when they've done the editing to make it look like the team which left the last challenge first runs into problems and is being slowed down, and then that team actually gets to the pit stop last. I was certain that Lawrence and Zac would beat Jeremy and Sandy to the mat, because that's how it's always edited, but when Jeremy and Sandy showed up, I was shocked.
Yes, in previous seasons there have definitely been legs where there was a U-turn on the same leg as a non-elimination.

That was my recollection as well, but I went to look. According to Wikipedia, before this season , from TAR 12 when it started, there was only one instance where a team who was U-turned wasn't eliminated ( TAR 17, Jill & Thomas U-turning Brook & Claire ) Each time it showed up it was an elimination round.

That didn't fit my memory of teams being angry for a while after, then I realized it was the Yield that I was thinking of. In TAR 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 and 11 the yield appeared in non-elim legs as well as elimination legs (In TAR 7 none were used, but one did show up in a double leg )

So the U-turn has has a greater effect on the target than the Yield did. I had been lumping in the Yield when I was thinking of it's effectiveness
