I laughed the most at Zev. :)

    Justin: "Zev is very artistic"
    Zev: "Also autistic!"

Cracked me up when Phil checked them in as the winners of the leg and asked them if they had their passports. ;)

Page isn't loading for me now.. but aren't they arguably -less- exercise since they return some of your own energy back to you?

You're right! Weren't they out of his "price range" for tv pitching? (Although he did go out of this "range" in a later episode, to pitch sports equipment.)

    Chicago-ish...
I am so glad the cowboys caught up. Yes, they were stupid with the flags, but they are one of my favorite teams and I would have been super sad to see them eliminated first.

Why? They did quite well in getting back into the race given the parameters of this leg. Credit where credit is due....

Ordered the kangaroo shoes for my husband's birthday--errrr, well, my mother did. She has the money to spend $250 on what might turn out to be little used. Actually, it looks like it might be a good way for him to exercise. He is 6'4 and has some joint and back issues so the low-impact nature of the shoes might help him out. Plus, plus they are fun!

Regarding the Cowboys being eliminated. I have to assume that it was always planned that the first team would be eliminated after the second leg because

    A) That is when the first pit stop occured. It would have been useless to add that condition and then never have it come in to play if the team was eliminated before the pit stop occured.

    B) Based on the way they pushed people through the pitstop I am gueesing that the filmed the episode for the possibility of a 2 hour premiere.

The first Pit Stop was last week. It might not have been a "Leg", but it was referred to as a Pit Stop more than once.

I think they jiggered things to keep the ****kickers around.

I have no doubt that it was planned like this from the beginning. It seems like they intended that the last team to complete the beginning challenge would need to complete both sides of the detour before the end of the first official pit stop/elimination stop.
