No one that I'm aware of (certainly not I) has asserted that the show is anything but but the Mia side of the story.

Woody certainly considers it a hatchet job, and it's not made clear by anyone who's not familiar with the case that this is meant to be only Mia's account.

We heard directly from Allen’s ex-girlfriend who was 17 at the time of their relationship (when Woody was about 40).
Allen was given the opportunity to be interviewed — he declined.

Did you ever give an F to a student without reading the paper?

No, those were the days when I had to read them all, no matter how bad I knew they were going to be.

Thankfully, those days are gone! :D

17 I believe is legal in NYS, am I right? She also doesn't seem all that credible to me. I wonder how she's hold up under a cross?

All I'm saying is that it's easy to come to a conclusion when only hearing ONE side of the story. If I knew nothing about this, I'd have come to the same conclusion as you are.

Of course Woody is going to disparage it; he does not come off well.

It's clear that Woody did not participate and they note several times he denies the allegations. One would have to be willfully obtuse to think this show was intended as a "both sides" telling - or just looking for a straw-man.

Not sure what age of consent has to do with my reference which was to dispute your comment that e2 was “lots more heresay”. I have not stated any conclusion of mine, other than that Woody is Creepy, and that opinion of mine is from a long time ago.

I get that. I always thought Michael Jackson was creepy, yet he is this revered figure.

Like most of the "What-About-Mia" red-herrings, the above has no relevance to the Woody Allen/Mia Farrow relationship.

    Episode 3
Good episode. A lot of tv clips from when the allegations occurred and current interviews with some of the investigative reporters and the CT States Attorney.

I knew about the YNH report, but didn’t know that YNH released it to Allen and Farrow and not to the State of CT (who commissioned the report). I also didn’t remember that the NY child welfare investigator had stated to a reporter that he believed Dylan.

As noted, this documentary is slanted towards Farrow’s statement of events, but its does raise some interesting points of how YNH handled the interview with Dylan (notes destroyed) and how NY handled the investigation.

I gave up after Ep2. It's just too one sided.

What I found almost humorous was a call with Allen recorded by Farrow when she asked him if he was taping their call, Allen said “No, I wouldn’t even know how to do that”, and then he gets another call, tells Farrow to hold on, and then mistakenly conferences the call and you hear Allen say “I’m just listening to her and taping”. — Guess it was how to put a call on hold that he didn’t know how to do :)

Her own brother statistically remains a far more likely suspect...though his...proclivities...weren't publicly known back then.

Allen said he was not in the attic when the alleged incident occurred.

How common is it for kids to be coached into telling a different version of reality? I don't remember that much from when I was 7 but what I do remember, I'm 100% sure it occurred. (Of course there's no way to tell if my memories are accurate either.)

My mother was called for jury duty once for a child molester case. The opposing counsel asked her, "Don't you think children lie all the time?" And she said, "No, actually, I think they are honest-sometimes painfully so. My children see a fat person, they say, "WOW! That person is fat!" Children tell the truth!" She was dismissed. Just my two cents.
