In 2018, HGTV bought the house with the iconic exterior shown on "The Brady Bunch."

Thing is, the interior of that house does not match what you saw on the show. For one thing, the house doesn't even have a second floor!

So HGTV got eight of its favorite designers ("Property Brothers," "Good Bones," "Hidden Potential", "Flea Market Flip," and "Restored by the Fords") together with all six of the original Brady kids to renovate the house to match the show, right down to the Seventies tchotchkes.

The TV series starts on September 9, but the HGTV website has enough short clips and video miniseries to keep you occupied for a few hours.

I can't wait. Other TCFers of a certain age may want to check out the website now and tune into the show next month!

OnePass set! I've wondered when this would air. It seems they've promoted it for a while. I saw a bit on Entertainment Tonight (or something like that). It looks to be very interesting. They had to dig out the original house to create the second floor!

I cut the cord, so no HGTV for me! :(

That’s the price I pay for saving the medium bucks...

They've already shown the whole finished house & even the back yard on various shows. I'm not sure what's left to see.

I'm just about ready to "cut the cord" but keeping my Bell Fine account long enough for this.

I'd like to say this is because of my wife, who loves reno shows, but truth is I'm the one who told her about this a couple months so.

But I'm sure they've spent hours editing tape and crafting hilarious but heartwarming interaction between the Brady kids and the HGTV stars, and we wouldn't want them to think it was all for nothing? Must watch! :tonguewink::tonguewink::tonguewink:

Yeah, doubt if anyone is going to be watching it just for the reveal.

Thanks for the heads up. It might be fun to watch. Just set a Pass, as it comes up in a search even though it's not on the guide yet.

Yeah... thanks for the heads up.. I found some of the videos that show what matters. No need to watch a whole multi part series now

They did a pretty damn awesome job.. That staircase!!

It would be pointless to watch just for the reveal. If they do their job correctly, the finished product should look pretty much just like the set of the TV show. The entire point of producing and watching a show like this is to see HOW they get to that point.

I heard Marcia gets hit in the nose with a framing square, but that might just be a rumor.

The most important thing to come out of this: Does the finished house have a toilet in the kids bathroom? ;)
