I got an email confirmation from Tivo shortly thereafter that future annual renewals would be $99 (a great deal) On September 21, I get the renewal notice that the annual rate would be $149 (not what I was told in writing). Next on September 26, I get another email: Important Notice: Correction Regarding Whiteout Sale Service Renewal Dear Valued Customer, We have noticed a system configuration error. If you receive an email that your current annual renewal service price will return to the regular annual $149.99 in 60 days, that email was sent in error. Please disregard that message. Your contract will continue at the Whiteout Sale rate of $99.99 for annual. We apologize for any confusion or inconvenience that this might have caused. If you have any questions, please contact TiVo Customer Service at (844) 254-8486 to cancel your account. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for continuing to be a loyal TiVo customer. Sincerely, TiVo Team I noticed yesterday that my credit card had in fact been charged for the $149.99. Has this happened to anyone else who bought during last year's Whiteout Sale ?
