Where would you have read those types of things when mash was on? Ha
Um...reviews? Magazines? Newspapers? We did have news and entertainment coverage in the old days. Wow...
I enjoyed this sahow and it was pretty much what I expected it to be, an updated version of M*A*S*H. If Mash were done today I think it would very much be like this was.
I'm waiting for my son's review on it since he actually served as a combat medic for 4 years at a FOB in Afghanistan. I'm wondering how much they got right and more importantly what they got wrong.
Yes because writing your local newspaper and getting something published in a magazine is equivalent to grabbing your phone and dropping a quick comment is the same. Yeah I just cant quite figure out why you see alot more forums and comments today than when MASH was on. Stop being nieve.
If I knew what “nieve” meant, I might stop...
But they did have the water cooler.
Why can't we all just get along?
I think that's the daughter of your brother or sister..
I'm kinda meh through 2 eps. Won't delete the SP yet, but it needs to pick up imo.
2nd ep better than first; producers weren't trying to shock us in this ep.
I thought just the opposite.
3rd ep did not do anything for me. Not sure why, really don't care for the lead guy nor the woman major doctor story heading for her to have an affair with the patient.
Actually, I thought ep3 took a significant step forward with the plot (whatever that might entail), and moved away from the Roback/Durkin storyline.
I'm liking it but don't see it lasting beyond a season or two
Just saving it up until I'm really bored.
So being on low contact with the outside world and working from home since thrusday has given me ample time to binge several series and 68 Whiskey was one of them.
As the season progressed it got better and better. If M*A*S*H had been made today I think it would be very much like 68 Whiskey. It's a more mature, realistic look at the same situation M*A*S*H trod four decades ago.
I'm liking the interplay between Durkin, Robeck and Alvarez. I fully expect Robeck and Alvarez to consummate their "marriage" during the season finale. I don't know if it's been renewd for a 2nd season, but I hope so.
I concur...it seems to have found its footing as the season progressed. I've checked several sources, and no word on renewal. Interesting if you check Wiki, the ratings took an expected dip after the first ep, but viewership has increased the last several.
I agree... I stuck with it, and find it entertaining.
I watch it. Compelling. Be disappointed if it's not renewed
