6.3c update from Instantcake HD 6.3b

In January I got tired of waiting for the DTV gods to bless my HR10-250 with 6.3b so I went over to DVRUPGRADE and got instantcake hd 6.3b. Everything has been running fine, no audio dropouts or locking up.

Now Daylight savings time is coming around and I am hearing I need 6.3c. I did a manual call and got Pending Restart but never get 6.3c.

First of all, do I really need 6.3c to fix the DST change and if so will I be able ever be able to update to 6.3c after using Instantcake?

I'd rather not do a C&D because I saved programs I don't want to lose.

Thanks, I don't have any manual recordings I guess 6.3c is not a necessity.

In the future, can I receive important software upgrades without having to rebuild my drive?
