If they only do 30 minute shows once per location per week it'd be okay. Hope they don't do two episodes per location per week that would be too much.

Watched this last night and there is no way those 3 computers were worth even remotely $200. He'd be lucky to get $25 a piece since they were 6 yrs old. Those looked like the Dell models we used to use at a company I worked for 7 yrs ago, so the age did line up at least when they mentioned that.

I think the girls did the best job of trying to make it look like they were truly valuing their lockers realisticaly.

I got excited when I saw the girls got $3000 for the fur coat. I have my mom's in my closet that is very similiar, yet HAS a designer label and is better made. I need to find that shop and sell it!

Depends on why you watch. We tend to watch partly for the personalities (mostly it's Barry and Moe) and partly for the "big finds". It's always fun to make guesses about what the item is and what they are worth. Even better when we already know the answer.

I just got rid of some of those old PCs. They were the same models, and there is no way he got 200 bucks for them. That guy just spent 200 bucks to be on tv for 1 minute.

25 bucks a piece would be stretching it IMO. Those were old Pentium 3 boxes!

Being on TV is valuable. Did you see Hester's contract? It looked like he was making $25k/episode plus expenses. In total it was like $700k/yr. They're not going to be on the show long if they sit quietly in the background never buying a locker. It is in their own best interest to buy lockers and ramp up the drama as much as possible.

In some of the later episodes it seems like Hester is buying junk lockers just to stay in the game. He knows the locker is way overpriced, but he can't keep going home empty handed. So he spends $3000 for a crap locker filled with old shoes, clothes and books just so he can get more screen time.

I'm getting to where the "I'm going to make him pay more for this locker" schtick is getting really old.

I hope Hester is gone for good.

That doesn't explain his suing the show and calling it all fake though. That's a quick way to end the gravy train.

It looks like NY they are going to burn off quick. I think they are running 2 a week for like three weeks and then season finale.

I agree. You can download the PDF of his complaint and it outlines what he was getting paid. He was making crazy money. I don't know what he thought he had to gain by complaining about how things were being run. Probably just Dave thinking he knows the best way to do everything.

    Just a FYI,

There is a 'Storage Wars Canada' that has started airing up north. It's available via magical means.

    What's next? 'Storage Wars UK'?
