I have a TiVo 140 series and a Toshiba SD-H400 in which I am changing drives for the second time. I went from 120GB to 160GB in the 140 and from 160GB to 300GB in the Toshiba. Both DVRs are running 7.2. I tried to copy the entire drive using MFS 2.0 from Weaknees 4.02 image. The command syntax I tried was mfstools -Tao - /dev/hda | mfsrestore -s 127 -r 4 -xzpi - /dev/hdb Linux reported the correct drive sizes, but the above command failed with an error stating that the destination drive was too small to hold the backup image. I was able to backup the kernel without shows in both cases with no problems, and the TiVos booted just fine. I searched the threads, and it seems that MFSTools 2.0 can move shows when other than the original drive is the source. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?
