I thought this was a great episode! One of the best in a long time. I loved the scene with Billy Mitchell trying to waltz out of the FBI.

And when the guards grabbed his arm to lead him away, he didn't wince again.

My favorite part of this thread is the fact that virtually nobody took this episode seriously. Come to think of it, nobody takes 24 seriously anymore, we just have fun watching and picking it apart in the threads, hehe.

Poor Dubaku just needs love, can't any of you see that?!?!?

I must say though, that car chase and subsequent crash was GREAT, it had me cheering anyway.

And when the non-torturous boss grabbed him. As he did that, I said, "Now! Take him away! And... don't torture him."

Sort of like when Jack Bauer, when he was about to mention Rack Bauer pulling her gun on him, said, "Oh by the way..." I finished, "...I faked every orgasm."

Totally enjoyable ending to the story arc. Though I winced when out of the blue Chloe called up the FBI guy and said "It's a miracle, don't ask me how, but I retrieved the data from the chip." And of course the guy asks how and she responds with total technobabble.

He just had no feelings. Literally, he had no nerve endings so felt no pain. :D

BTW, mole-guy barely even winced when he was in the process of shooting himself. Even Michael on Lost winced more. WAAAALT! Er... JAAAAACCK!

What bugged me the most about this episode is that, in the midst of a massive government conspiracy, where Jack says multiple times that you can't trust anyone, what does he do?

He hands the one and only piece of evidence off to some random helicopter pilot to have it delivered to the FBI. No chance that guy was in on it?

    W H A T ?

Well, he had access to the FBI heliport..... ?????? Of course, what the helo guy was doing in the middle of the street at that moment isn't quite clear either.....

But they show up for all routine traffic accidents, right?

I was actually very surprised that the chip survived. I was expecting the helicopter to be shot down on the way to the FBI.

You must've been thinking of Sylar from "Heroes". :D

I was distracted by the speed that the computer nerd healed from the self-inflicted gunshot wound to his arm just moments before he put on his jacket effortlessly and then went running down the halls with both arms swinging away, and then being arrested and having one of the arresting agents grabbing his arm with no pain on the part of the traitorous geek.

Looks like I was shooting for the double- or triple-smeek, but managed to pull off a quadruple-smeek with a half-twist double-pike sow-cow. :)

What happened to Angelina Jolie's dad? He showed up in the first couple of episodes this season, then disappeared. You know that a minor African warlord could cause this much corruption in the US government. However, if you saw the previews of next week's episode, it does look like the warlord plot is going to continue at a least a little longer.

Is Jack Bauer's dad still alive? Was last season the last time we saw him?

No, the minor African warlord didn't cause this corruption. It was caused by his boss, the Major African warlord.

    DEATH to all African warlords!!!
