    Two out of a whole bunch of episodes have guide data saying they're 2008.. Are these really new episodes?? There have been 7-ish episodes with Stacy Keach announcing rerunning forever.

    I was just about to ask that question. As you know, the last show of last season was dropped soon after the strike began. If the show comes back I hope George Carlin, who was supposed to be on the last show, will be rescheduled.

    Of all the late night talk shows, Maher's seems to rely the least on written bits. It seems to be about 80% interviews and discussion, and the pundits and politicians who comprise most of his guests are more likely to cross the WGA picket lines than are the actors who are guests on the other shows.

    That said, I have no idea if his show will be back before the strike is over.

    Law & Order: SVU also airs an episode tonight (January 1st).
