I just got an email from Robert at TIVO Customer Support saying:

Thank you for contacting TiVo Customer Support. I would be glad to help you with the MPEG4.

Yes I apologize for that inconvenience. The two HD TiVos---XXXXXXX5020 , XXXXXXXXD6E6----have been escalated to receive a software update for the MPEG4 format.

    Looks like they came around.

    Thanks

Sometimes the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.:up:
Good that it worked for you.

I'm waiting until the aftermath to the Verizon -> Frontier transition dies down before I request this. FiOS added a couple new channels my HD can't get earlier this week, but it doesn't look like I'm missing anything on those either.

Or maybe I'll just go OTA only with it. Decisions.

So as a TWC customer, is there a reason, and a method to get this 11n update?

No real reason until TWC deploys MPEG4 channels that you want to receive.

I have unmodified HDXL, but have not yet received 11.0n. I presume HDXL's are included in "HD" upgrade. I keep checking. Any othre HDXL owners out there who have gotten 11.0n?

Are you in one of the Comcast MPEG4 markets? it's not automatically being sent to anyone else, but you can request it.
