I am a believer that most of the HDMI cables are fine. I am shocked when anyone pays through their nose for overpriced cables. The cables that I have seen giving grief were around $60-$80. I haven't seen a cheapy or a monster cable with a problem. I personally uses cheap $10-$20 and they are fine. This post is to make aware that a cable that works at 480p, 720P, 1080i may not work at 1080P due to the frequency and cross talk that may happen at higher resolution. If the Tivo HDMI cable was used and meet the specs then it should be fine. I am using the provided HDMI cable with no trouble on my system. FWIW.

I'm using a Monster HDMI cable (bought new through Ebay at a much reduced price). I'll try the Tivo HDMI cable to see if that makes a difference, but I'd be surprised it did.
    Thanks, Pam
