I think the idea of the Pee Cube was 1) the urine immediately goes down the drain rather than into some type of basin, and 2) the door closes it off so it's not stinking up the place when it's not in use. As for how it would prevent splashing, I didn't get that.

I have a (probably stupid) question. Ted Danson used to be on with his actual, and for the show, wife, Mary. Now he is single. Well, his character but his character is still Ted Danson. Did I miss something?

They got divorced on the show last season?, but they’re still very much together in real life.

I agree with this. I never liked the character. I thought "last" season they had toned him down some, but this season he's back to being annoying Leon. He talks so fast and mumbles so you can't understand him, and he over does the use of curse words. But I still love the show despite him and there have been a few times where Leon was funny (for example I like the idea of him being Larry's point man at Latte Larry. That could work well.).

Didn't Larry say that there should be some sort of suction that sucks down the urine so it doesn't splash back? Something like that.

My guess is she didn't want to do it anymore and they thought it would be funny to have Ted date Larry's ex. She's on the new NBC show Zoe's Extraordinary Playlist

And will he be making a women's version? It would be hard not to enforce his rules when the women have a toilet.

I agree about Leon. I did like his character at first, but now it is just too much and I dread when he is on. But then again I also can't stand Cheryl Hines, so thankfully every other character is good.

I think a little Leon goes a long way. The problems arise when there's too much Leon. I think this applies both at the micro (per show) and macro (per season/series) level.

I skipped the past couple seasons, but I've watched every episode this season and Leon has me in stitches (most of the time - the stuff around the blow-up doll I didn't need).

Maybe, but per an interview that Ted did, he forgot to tell her so she didn’t know they were divorced until she showed up to do a scene.

The warning before the show said there would be nudity...I guess a naked blowup doll qualifies!

There was also the topless centerfold in the magazine the old man was looking at. One shot was not censored.

I like Leon but can understand how he's too much for some people. He cracks me up. I wonder if JB Smoove and Shannon Sharpe are from the same region. They seem to have the same type accent/inflections.

That’s the prototype. The final Pee Cube will have a penis sensor :)

We saw what is apparently the final version in the most recent episode. It moves up and down the wall to be at the precise height. But it didn't seem to have any suction feature. And I'm still confused about the "snowshoe" things on the floor. How would those prevent you from stepping in splashed pee?

As for the female squat toilets, Larry really didn't think that through at all, because a woman would have to completely remove her pants or risk peeing all over them.

Which is exactly why Larry’s new toilets are hilarious.

I can only envision one of the new toilets malfunctioning and end up doing a Lorena Bobbitt on an unwitting patron. Yikes!

I don't know how they do it year after year, but this show is STILL about the funniest thing on TV. When the dog stopped being aggressive when Larry did the Heil Hitler, we were laughing so hard we had to pause. There's just so much so wrong and so funny with this show, but it always has me rolling!

One of the reasons is because they don't have to do it year after year..................
