I find it funnier when Larry is rude by accident rather than intentional.

For example the opening scene when he knocked down the bikes. It would be funnier if he knocked them over by accident, but didn't care at all.

Or when he broke that guy's selfie stick. Not funny at all but probably entertaining because it is obviously something that would rankle him and also many in his audience would love to do that themselves.

Another great episode. Great season after two episodes.

This show kills me. Anything that can go wrong does. I understand they don't want to bring the mood down by bringing up any finality for Funkhouser, but it was still very sad when they addressed it by saying Funkhouser is away in China. Maybe they'll eventually have the Coronavirus get him.

I was surprised they brought up Funkhouser too.

What will be funny about the Cornoavirus?

Nothing, but since he's in China it's a topical explanation for why that character won't be coming back. If they weren't going to address it then why even bring him up other than to stall until they figure it out?

Man the baby joke story line was great!
When he knocks her over in the hospital
    Paraphrasing but
-If this baby is messed up when it's born...
-Oh that baby was messed up LONG before

Did anyone else think Larry’s wedding outfit might have been a Leisure Suit Larry reference?

Curb definitely does not start slow unless you never watched Seinfeld and are not used to the humor. Larry has a heart of gold but is misunderstood plus he has a hard time letting small slight and snubs go.

It has been so many years since the first seasons so the wife and I started watching from the beginning Season 1. Now midway through season 4 now and we are just starting to remember some of the episodes in a little more detail. So funny. It makes for a good palate cleanser after a heavy TV show like Outsider or Homeland.

I LMAO (almost literally) though all episodes. My wife cringes and shakes her head but loves it - Cheryl IS my wife when I do something foolish.

I guess getting older has some benefits, we can watch Curb from the beginning and it is like a brand new show. What a bonus to have many years of Larry David to rewatch!

BTW: How have you never stumbled on CYE until now? You are in for a treat, definitely start with season 1.

I used to like this show, but damn, get rid of Leon. What an awful character, and 90% of the time, I can't understand a word he's saying. Why is he even around and mooching of LD? He brings nothing to the show, and is just a huge distraction.

(This is not a racist thing, I'd be saying the same thing if he was white).

I think most people love Leon. I haven't watched the latest season but from what I remember he encourages Larry to do foolish things. I would love to see him do stand up live.

I can't explain it to you because - like Leon - I can't use it.

I think he's the kind of character you either love or hate. Me? I can't get enough Leon (but I understand why people would hate him).

It was the Pee Cube. I don't get the door part... any 'splash back' is going to happen with the door open.

And I'm surprised about the 'no deification' thing. Surely there are building codes that dictate what's required, including a handicap stall. But that's next week's episode. :)
