Season 1 will be released on March 3, 2009.

Chuck Lorre, who went on to create “Two and a Half Men” and “The Big Bang Theory,” wrote the most episodes.

Best line of the series is still the one in the pilot:
Stacy Keenan's greeting to Paul Reiser and Greg Evigan: "Congratulations! It's a girl!"

It was an amusing show to watch back then, but no way I'd pay good money to own it or re-watch it.

If they're gonna pick a Greg Evigan show to put on DVD, why not something awesome?

This show is wrong on so many levels. The jist is your mom was easy, we both slept with her, who knows who your dad is.

Whatever happened to the girl who played the lead in that show? I remember thinking she was cute when I was but a boy.

She's still cute now, and is apparently a semi-working actress according to her imdb page.

One of the stars - I think it was Reiser - was on The Tonight Show once, and was asked why they didn't just use DNA testing to identify the father; he replied, "That's how they threaten us in salary negotiations - if we want to complain, they'll just point to one of us and say, 'You're the father.' "

I'd say barely working, in TV and movies anyway. She's had four jobs since Step By Step ended 11 years ago.
It's kind of hard to believe that Giovanni Ribisi was the one to go on and be the most prolific actor from that show.
