Your HR10 made a scheduled call on its own. You were then authorized for the download, then received it through the bitstream (i.e. satellite).
It's BS. They told me the same thing. I had been forcing multiple daily calls for three days before I got the "pending restart" status last night....
Your HR10 is NOT defective. Keep forcing the calls and look for "pending restart." You need the call to authorize the download.
It will say it on the screen after hitting select (after the phone call completes).

I was told there are no more HR10250's available. I guess you hear different things from different people.
Just got off the phone with DTV tech support. They said everyone should of had 6.3b as of last night. I still have 6.3a after at least 10 forced...
I canceled mine last night. I received a card from DTV offering four free months around Christmas. They know their content sucks.
I emailed them and they said there are no plans to carry this channel. Lame!
