I pre-ordered the BD from Amazon as well, but it's on backorder already. :(
It's really odd that Planet Earth was not featured at all in any of the weekly ads. I was hoping for a price under $50.
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I prefer the DirecTV remote to the TiVo peanut remote.
Those birds of paradise are crazy! :D
I think it's 45 days.
Some of the people at IMDb are saying Planet Earth is like the greatest show ever. A Blu-ray release might prompt me to finally pick up a PS3.
Hey, it's better than nothing! :)
Buying TV shows from the iTunes Store is looking better and better all the time. $200-300 per year for 6-8 shows is better than $800 for DirecTV....
Finally got mine a few days ago. Now I can unplug the 50-foot phone cord I have running down the hallway.
The Harmony 676 has a great layout for TiVo users.
Well, since local HD's are coming to my town in the next few months, and the only way to record them is the HD20, I will have to make the switch.
WooHoo! I'm finally gonna get HD locals here in Greenville, SC. Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to trade in my HR10-250 for the HR20.
Yeah, I thought I could use a 10% off coupon at Circuit City, but they said it didn't apply to leased equipment. Aaargh!
Well, I did manage to get them to swap out my H10 for an H20 and install the 5-LNB dish at no charge. :)
Apparently I'm an idiot, because I gave up after two tries, and went to CC a few weeks ago and bought/leased my TiVo for $400. :(
I believe you Earl; that's why I have a 75-foot phone cord running from my Living Room to the bedroom in anticipation of the upgrade. ;)
Whew! I thought I was the only one this was happening to.
I called and said that it didn't make sense to shell out $400 for a non-MPEG-4 DVR. The CSR said I should just wait until the fall for the HR20....
The 676 is better suited for TiVo fans than the 880.
If the content can play on the iPod video and the PSP, then it will play on my Palm LifeDrive as well.
