The Tivo app hasn't appeared on apple store yet, but I'm currently streaming Sky One on demand to my PC and it seems to work fine.
Finally, Virgin have launched TV Anywhere and have created a new forum on the Virgin forums for it....

If I worked for VM and was concerned that people would struggle to network their TiVo then I would work on making the TiVo available over the VM...
VM have confirmed that part of the update is specifically to stop 3rd party apps from working as "these apps create stability risks to our TV...

Far far easier to setup and works fine - I have duely uninstalled python.
I was meaning portforwarding as well.
