I have not bothered to upgrade my TiVo hard drives capacity yet, and don't usually save anything but there have been two exceptions. I saved my episodes of Firefly until the Firefly DVDs came out, and I am currently saving season one of The Venture Brothers, which I will finally erase when the season one DVD set of The Venture Brothers comes out this May 30th.
I tend not to archive shows, especially if I can just pick them up on commercial DVD. The most of any show I saved is The Tick! Since it isn't available on DVD I recorded all episodes at Best (36 IIRC) and burned DVDs (DVR-810H) for myself and some friends, and also transferred the files to my PC.

Obviously you'd want the original music and not bastardized versions released.
(the ones you have on your Tivo are also obviously all chopped up because they're syndicated cuts.. probably missing at LEAST 5 minutes of the show.)
How many other shows have had 200 episodes, period?
Oh, wait, there are soap operas and talk shows. If somebody has been recording General Hospital for more than a year, that's 260-plus episodes right there.
I have 12 episodes of Robot Chicken and 11 episodes of ATHF. Both of those were close to 20 episodes on my TiVo before I watched some episodes.
