    Lifetime for REALLY old subscribers...

    Where did you get information on the grand-fathered original units? I called Tivo and they told me that all units cost $199 to transfer.

    I just got off the phone with Tivo. They say that they have only allowed the $199 transfer for retail purchases of the S3 for certain individuals...
