Andy Grammer and Hayes Grier are also contenders, though I've never heard of either and think the latter has absolutely no business on any TV show much less a celebrity competition.
I feel bad for Keo... He's seems like such a great guy... This is his third season, and this is the 2nd time he's been the first to be eliminated... And the other time he was still one of the 1st to go...
He doesn't do well in the celebrity lottery... I wonder if these match ups are assigned, or randomized... They need to give Keo a celebrity with better potential...
I generally hate all-season threads...but I don't know how many people actually want to talk about this show anymore... I am open to creating separate threads of we have the interest...

Good lord, yes! I want to see more of Keo. But that will never happen if he keeps getting stuck with such bad partners. I want to see what he can do if given good material to work with.
I'm tempted to skip the next few weeks because there are another 3 or 4 people who need to leave ASAP. I don't want to have another Bill Engvall season where someone CLEARLY lacking dancing talent gets moved on because they have a strong fan base.

An all-season thread would be fine, I'm suspecting. What WON'T be fine, is posting spoilers in a thread clearly labeled as for the premiere only.:down:

I think his problem is he doesn't have as much clout as guys like Derek and Mark. The producers know D&M are good for ratings being on with competitive partners deep into a season, and if they stick them with bad partners they're liable to get bored and walk off the show for a season or more.
Another bottom dweller eliminated... Too bad for Karina...she returns and gets eliminated second? According to Wikipedia, she's been eliminated early on the last three seasons that she's competed...
She's a pretty competitive dancer...with the right celebrity, she could go far... I didn't watch the JR Martinez season, but I did see her partner with Mario Lopez in season 3...
As long as we quickly eliminate the dancers that are painful to watch, this could be a good season... The contenders look to be pretty entertaining...
I pretty much just watch the contestants I like and so far this season - that is not very many. DWTS definitely does NOT need 4 hours a week. I'm rooting for Tamar Braxton.

I watch the top performing contestants... I fast forward through the ones I am not interested in, and quickly confirm that the judges scores are aligned with their previous scores... If I see a significant bump in their scores, I *might* go back and watch the performance...though unlikely...
While I am disheartened by her personal situation, I am not terribly disappointed to see her eliminated from the DWTS competition... There are a lot of not-so-great dancers that you can tell have the motivation and passion to continue... Busey is a great example of someone who does. not. want to go. home.
My perception of Kim was that she wasn't really enjoying the journey, and while her lips are saying "please make an exception", I simply am not convinced that her heart is in for taking this journey...
Overall, I have to say, I wasn't really feeling "TV theme show" night...
Every season there are People That Need To Be Eliminated Early. So far so good. But Busey and Paula still need to go. After that we need to see who melts down as the pressure increases, but right now I'm having a hard time picking my final three.

Most of this cast is a list of OMG, can they go home now? people. I wonder how short the rehearsal time was for the show this season.
I am rooting for Bindi Irwin and Alek Skarlatos.
I suppose I could pick a number three if forced to, by choosing which ones I would throw out first and then seeing who is left over when I got down to three. But right now, no one is standing out.
Alfonzo was ok as a judge but as a host.....I'll be glad to have Tom back next week. And thank goodness the train wreck of Busey is now over. People were applauding him just for his oddballness and it really just felt sad.

Agreed... It's amazing what a good or not-so-good host does to the dynamics of the show... Tom is simply a natural... Alfonzo was awkward...but some of that was probably nerves and lack of experience... He would probably get better over time...
As an aside, I am not sure Survivor could survive a host change... Jeff Probst pretty much defines the show...
Another bottom dweller leaves us, which should continue to make the show more interesting as we eliminate the performances that I have to fast forward through...
I love Gary's story, and am glad that he survived his motorcycle accident and still thrives in his 70s... That said, he's not an entertaining dancer, so I am not disappointed by his departure...
It was funny to see Gary talk and talk and really not care at all that the show is live and time was up.
