Thumbs down Partners - FX show with Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence

I watched both premiere episodes of this, so you don't have to.

Terrible! I won't be back.

The premise of each episode was ridiculous, and an overly exaggerated laugh-track, worse than a Disney XD show, in 2014 is inexcusable.

It's a shameful waste of two comedic geniuses. It's really that bad.

Thanks for taking one (or two, I guess) for the team! I'm glad I didn't record this.

I'm a big Grammer fan and I lasted maybe 10 minutes before deleting it. The laugh track was like fingernails on a chalkboard and the premise was absurd.

The canned laughter killed it for me. After the a few seconds that was all I could hear.

Lawrence, though not really my cup of tea, is good given the right vehicle.

And he and Grammer should certainly be capable of being good together if you give them the right setup and material.

Which it sounds as though they didn't.

I watched both of them too. I'm usually someone that gives a show more than two shots, but not this one. Adios, Partners. Frasier must need some money. I'd think he'd have more discretion than to work on this.

I watched them both and thought the show was ok. Laugh tracks don't bother me. I don't even notice it.

I don't know that it is worth to keep watching the show. I don't think I'm interested in watching an ok show.

I had them scheduled to record, but after seeing a couple of the promos I decided not to. Sounds like I made the right decision.

I watched the first episode last night and I'll echo your comments. I have no recollection of the laugh track and I hate them.

I'll probably keep some recorded to watch when my wife isn't home and I don't want to watch one of our together shows.

Another example of why there are many other flavors of ice cream than vanilla. I enjoyed the program. Keep the hisses to yourselves.

You really had to go some to construe anything I wrote having anything to do with your having an opinion.

Especially after Boss. I'm shaking my head in confusion.

I thought this series is on par with typical sitcoms. But it certainly is a giant step backwards for Grammar (after "Boss").
