Killer Women Season 1

I really want to love this show because I love Tricia Helfer and Marc Blucas, but "La Sicaria" did not grab me. Maybe they spent too much time trying to introduce the characters?

I'll give it another ep or two, but I sure hope it gets better.

Hadn't heard of this before, but I caught the first episode on Hulu+, I give it couple of more shows.

The ratings were the worst premiere in history for ABC. Since there are only supposed to be 8 eps will ABC just air them?

This does not surprise me in the least. The show has one of the worst titles in the history of television.

Yes, I am in the same boat. I'll give her a few more. As for the title, what is that about? Are we going to be on a Monster Lady of the Week ride?

While I won't object to anything that puts Nadine Velazquez in a tight dress, the dialog was terrible with hammy clichés and the "plot twists" were all patently obvious; totally didn't engage me.

Same here. I wanted to like it, but what a disappointment. Since it is only 8 episodes, I will try to stick it out, but I am not too hopeful.

I saw like a 10 second teaser for this show and they couldn't even make that 10 seconds look good.

They could loop the opening scene up until the gunfire and that would be pretty good.

I may not be able to reach 8 episodes. I normally give a show at least three episodes, and usually more, but this is painful.

I thought maybe the eye candy would be worth it but from the remarks here I'm guessing not. I think I'll just go ahead and delete the first two episodes and cancel my SP.

It took me the entire first episode to get over her bad Texas drawl.
Even went as far as to check the IMDB to see where she was born, trying to find a reason it sounded so bad.
Yup, Canada, about as far from Texas as you can get without crossing an ocean.

Haven't seen the 2nd ep yet, but the first definitely didn't grab me.

Just another cop show with no redeeming qualities.

I was amazed that she looked sexier in the blue jeans than in the slinky dress. But she looked good in both. I love cowgirls. During the stock show last year I even loved a bunch of cowgirls that came into Wendie's with cow crap on their boots. I smelt it before I spotted it. It is amazing how cute they can look with a pony tail. And they have such fine shoulders from throwing hay bales too!

Just another cop show with no redeeming qualities.

Tricia looked so hot in the stills I saw so I had to at least take a look. Watched a few minutes and turned it off.

The 02-18-2014 episode was apparently the last episode they are airing (at the moment) as it was cancelled. To add extra excitement/confusion they skipped an episode while leaving the "Previously On..." clips for the episode they skipped. Apparently they felt that the episode that they aired would be a better finale.

The show wan't must see TV, but had great scenery.

I thought I had missed an episode. The one they missed had some major developments. idiots. Having said that, I didn't even bother to check online for the missing episode (I just figured the DVR missed it due to all the Olympics stuff) so maybe they were tight.

The biggest problem I had (and there were more than a few) was that you knew the killer would be a woman, but often they would make it look like it was a male, but the viewer knew perfectly well that it was not the case, so spotting the "real" killer was trivial.

Yeah, it was pretty easy to figure out whodunit but we enjoyed it. I even forgave TH her inconsistent and weird Texan accent.

I only figured out that it was cancelled and the skipped episode on purpose when i had already looked at the guide info and showed the airdates were in order but the missing episode was not available by any other means.

Oh well. Now to decide if I watch the last one or just let it go.

Ah, watch the last one. It was not a great show, and I pondered just deleting it when it was clear it was cancelled, but I enjoyed it well enough.

They must use the same transportation system as 24.

I currently live in Los Angeles, but grew up in Texas. For TV shows, I do the "yeah, traffic won't let you do that"

For this show, I was doing "Yeah, Texas is BIG. She must have been going 200+ mph to be able to get there so fast."

Nice to see some of the Austin skyline again.

good, I'm not going completely nuts.

I sure *thought* catching the guy in the big rig was the very end of the last episode..

then I started watching this week's ep late night the other night.. and thought I was going nuts and missed (or downloaded to computer and forgot) an episode...

According to epguides.com, there are two unaired eps. It may be wrong though. 7 is the common "not even half a season" amount, right?

I know this show had lower ratings than a public access channel but couldn't ABC shown the last 3?

A couple days ago I binge watched all six episodes I had recorded. Yup, 6 in one sitting. When I was watching that last, I was like, "Huh? Did I miss one or something?" How the heck did her brother jump from getting caught driving the truck to already being an informant?

I kind of liked the show. Mostly because I liked the actors in it.
