For those that don't care to give CNN any hits (except I HAD to to get this info ):

Becomes available August 1st and is a six episode run.

I'm a bit confused on why this is the final season. I haven't followed the resurrection news but are they just trying wrap up the loose ends ?

While I'm thrilled that this show is returning...a whopping six episode run? Wonder if this is just leftovers from a previous season or if season four got green-lit and subsequently canceled? Wasn't season three the show's end? This is a little surprising (and confusing)

Wow, this is the Show That Wouldn't Die, or at very least the Show That Won't Go Away.

I'll watch.

Six episodes seems like a good length to me for a single case. True Detective, Broadchurch, and Top of the Lake were not much longer than this. I wish it wasn't the "final" season, though. I like The Killing.

Just checking in. I watched Season One only. Have they found Rosie's killer yet?
