Fox schedule change (and Return to Amy's Baking Company)

Fox announced that Almost Human's season finale is March 3; on March 10, Bones moves to Mondays, with Kitchen Nightmares returning on Fridays starting February 28...with a return to Amy's Baking Company (the original ABC episode will air on 2/21).

Why do we need to know this? I mean, our TiVos seamlessly follow schedule changes and catch our shows....

No. Bones, Glee (for its final season), Sleepy Hollow, The Simpsons, and Family Guy, yes, but no word yet on Almost Human. (American Dad will be in production next year as well, but is moving to TBS.)

Thanks, I did not know that! I will have to make a new SP for TBS.. (American Dad is one of the shows that I always enjoy WHEN I watch it, but somehow feels like something I'll watch "later"... Yikes, I have 19 unwatched on one of my Tivos, and potentially a few on other tivos/downloaded to computer.)

Oh wow, the toxic ABC couple again on Kitchen Nightmares? No doubt I shall watch, but just thinking about them makes me shudder.

Glad American Dad will still be around. I had heard a while back about its move to TBS, but didn't know when this would be.

I'm not a spoilerphobe but that announcement spoils the plot for Almost Human's finale which is over a month away. It doesn't matter to me because I'll forget it by then but still...

Since the original episode there have been reports of Amy's Baking Co. requiring potential employees to sign confidentially agreements. Also vague allusions that Amy and Sammy were shopping a reality series around. Apparently that was all cover for the return of GR.

Crazy Amy... Crazy like a fox

For whatever reason, Fox has decided not to air the original Amy's Baking Company episode on 2/21. The new "return" episode will air on 2/28 as planned.

Thanks for the updated info, Don. I, for one, am perfectly fine with NOT seeing the original Crazy Amy, et al, episode again. Not even sure I want to see the new one. ha! Maybe somebody in WA or CO can send me a couple of joints first?

Pretty obvious when the 13 episodes was not extended.

Fox is starting to move to more shows with shorter seasons. Other networks are following suit. Be glad you have a Tivo to record TV, reruns may become history for many tv shows.

The 28th is now showing as a repeat of Bones and then 2 comedies.. no Kitchen Nightmares

The original "Amy's" episode is scheduled to air tonight on BBC America, and again on March 6.

It's not just this particular episode; Fox has delayed airing any Kitchen Nightmares episodes until "later this season" for some unexplained reason. Reruns of Bones will continue in the time slot, even after new episodes return on Monday nights starting 3/10.

Well you can still get your Ramsey kick soon as I saw a preview for Hell's Kitchen last night, looks like it will be back in early March.

Cool. Looking forward to it. I think I like HK better than his Nightmare shows. Those have gotten so tedious - always the same exact formula. Not that HK is that much different, but I find it more enjoyable.

What's the latest scoop?

A coworker brought up the Amy's Baking Company ep of Kitchen Nightmares (which I've seen and is a must see, IMHO) and I recalled this thread, disappointed only to be unsure what was the deal.

Some quick Googling returns some hits claiming that "ABC" canceled on them. Is that accurate?

Doubtful, as I don't think Fox would have announced the episode if it wasn't ready.

The latest rumor is, Samy is being deported because of some crimes he committed in Europe decades ago.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if it really is just a scheduling issue, and they want to air the episode during May Sweeps; they are airing the last two episodes of Raising Hope on April 4 (rather than one on 4/4 and one on 4/11), and TheFutonCritic (which is usually right about these things) lists that the last four episodes (at least for this season) of Enlisted will air back-to-back on 4/18 and 4/25.

Kitchen Nightmares begins April 11 with "Return to Amy's Baking Company;" it will start out at 9:00, but when Rake ends, it will move to 8:00 (with repeats of Gang Related airing at 9).

The press release announcing Fox's current show finales (and upcoming season premieres) doesn't mention Enlisted; I have a feeling last Friday's episode was its last.

"The issue of sexual harassment comes up involving a cast member, Amy Bouzaglo, in the reality TV show Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay."

Amy speaks at 6:25.

I'm wondering if Amy and Samy's appearance on "Dr. Phil" will air at that time? Gotta keep an eye on that.
