VUDU is now coming to TIVO (Roamio & MINI first...)

VUDU is finally coming to TIVO!!!!!, According to this site, there is a twitter quote claiming that VUDU will come to PREMIERES later in 2015:

"Apps for VUDU as well as enhancements for Amazon Prime will also become available to earlier-generation Premiere boxes in a later update, sometime in 2015, according to this tweet posted Wednesday by the @TiVoSupport Twitter handle."

Hopefully we won't have to wait too long. I actually really like VUDU.

As reported in other threads many already have it.

Glad you're excited. Many of us were too.

Later next year, I'll be able to stream VUDU movies to my TIVO's in my bedroom and living room.

YAY!!!

Hi Dan,

I presume you have a Roamio, right?

Yes. Margret said it's not coming to Premiere until sometime next year

OK great. Just as long as the VUDU app eventually makes it's way to the Premiere line. I have 2 of them and am in no rush to get a Roamio TIVO.

Meh. I used to like VUDU, but then I rented a couple movies with awful encodes, and one bombed out on me with buffering issues, so I started using Amazon instead. That, and even when it comes to the Premiere, I have no plans to use it there. The Roku works fine, and my FireTV Stick will be coming soon too.

I've been using Vudu for almost seven years now. They have always been greta about giving you credit if there is a problem with a title. It doesn't happen to me very often, but when it does they have been quick to give me a credit. I've been using Vudu a lot more lately since it showed up on my Roamios and Minis.

This is true, and they did credit me for the time that it buffered like crazy, where I ended up having to go rent from Amazon.
