Sirens New USA comedy

Ok, I liked this much more than I thought I would.

Haven't heard about it, but saw the commercials during "Suits"

Developed by Denis Leary.

Being USA they get away with some of the more colorful language.

I thought it was pretty funny, although a bit raw in the language department. That part doesn't surprise me all that much since Denis Leary is involved. I loved Rescue Me so it was an instant season pass once it showed up in the guide. I just wish they could figure out some way to bring Lou back from the dead and inject him into this series.

FYI - The wife bailed on it after about 90 seconds so if you've got tender ears you might want to avoid this one.

I heard the language and looked to see whAt time it recorded! I felt a bit better once I saw it was 10pm.

I'll give it another episode or two.

I really enjoyed the first episode. The second one wasn't as good but still decent

Loved it.

I liked it because it was less a sit. comedy like Big Bang and more a comedy like Brooklyn 99.

I haven't seen the second but I really thought the first episode was very funny. I think we laughed within the first 2 minutes of the episode. I read a review or two that said the show was less than stellar, but that's why I give little credence in reviews other than as a tool to tell me what the show is about. It definitely had an early Rescue Me vibe. And of course DL has to have another "probie"

The first two episodes remind me of "The Job." Similar pacing and character interactions, a good combo of subtle humor and outrageously funny scenes. I loved "The Job" and was sorry it got cancelled so quickly. Supposedly "Rescue Me" was very similar to "The Job" in the beginning but I never caught on to that one. (Not that I didn't like it, I just didn't start it and never got around to catching up.)

I finally saw episode 2. Funny but not as good as the pilot. I'm in for the series, or at least until I get bored of the crude humor.

I deleted my SP to Mike and Molly, as I don't find it funny any more and the characters have all become caricatures. I figure I have room to watch a new show.

I have really enjoyed the show and hope that it is renewed and such.

It's a great little cast that play well off each other.

Me too. Last episode felt so much like early Rescue Me. Hope it comes back.

Hope they pick this up, it's great.

Jessica McNamee might be the best looking woman on TV right now.

I just binge-watched the first ten episodes...good show! The first episode or two was too crude, but it moved away from that and got better.

If you haven't watched Sirens, I definitely recommend it.

Sirens is centered around a three-person paramedic team, their fire station co-workers, and the people they encounter on their calls. Each episode is only a half hour long. And they do use salty language.

Not renewed. Cancelled. Kaput.

The season finale from last week is the series finale.

A real shame, this was one of the better sitcoms airing these days. Fresh, funny, moved fast, always witty.

This makes me sad. I loved this show!

Just hearing Cash or Billy talk (regardless of what they said) always cracked me up! And the fact that Cash always called Brian, "Kevin" always made me laugh too.

The episode where Billy talked about their pet pony named "Tony" was hilarious.

I don't get USA today. They've made some good shows like Sirens and tat cop show they had (forgot the title) but keep pushing it off to focus on Modern Family reruns. I miss the old USA.

I'd love Netflix to grab this show!

Common Law? It was a buddy cop show with an uptight white guy and laid-back black guy (played by Michael Ealy, who coincidentally played an android cop in Fox's cancelled Almost Human and is now in The Following)
http://tvline.com/2012/10/31/usa-net...-law-canceled/

I liked Sirens, too. The relationships and interactions between the characters were great.

USA seems to handle hour long shows ok, mostly, Burn Notice, White Collar, Suits, Covert Affairs, and probably some others I'm forgetting... In Plain Sight
