Question How many TiVos can be on one account?

I have some lifetime TiVos on my account that have been sold to other users, but they apparently are still on my account. I want to maybe get some more (Roamios and/or Premieres), but is there a limit as to how many TiVos can reside on one account?

It's weird seeing sold-off DVRs in there that have been renamed to some stranger's name. Kind of creepy.

There's supposedly a 10 device total limit. Don't know if the sold ones apply to the limit though.

I've got 13 active devices listed on my account of which 8 are still mine. Of the five that have been sold, four have been established on the buyers accounts and no longer show up on my device preferences list and one of them shows up on my device preferences list. IT's kind of weiord to be able to view the season passes for that device.

You can have 10 active TiVo/Minis on one account, the list of old TiVos that have been xfered to other people but still show on your account page do not count.

What is their rationale for limiting you to 10?

Will they refuse to sell you the 11th one?

A TiVo network limit, you can purchase as many as you want as long as each group of 10 is on a different sub net.
I don't think this is a big problem, unless your running a 11 room or more hotel with a network TiVo in each room??
