ethernet splitter

Has anyone had any luck using a ethernet splitter with their minis, when they were one outlet short? I Have 4 ports and 5 cables that need to plug in... I can buy a wireless adapter for my ooma (and will if I have to) but I wanted to see if the cheaper route works..
Thanks
Leweezo

If it were me (and it has been), I would go with this one. Only $5 more than the TP-LINK you linked to , same price a the D-Link and it supports 10/100/1000.

Making a Difference Rescue, where my two lovabulls came from.

It as founded by a lady who is cancer survivor. They have no facility but use volunteer foster homes where the org provides the food and medical care, and otherwise they PAY for boarding dogs in kennels.

Yeah, but I was saying "cheap" and figured TiVos don't do 1000. Maybe the new ones do.

I have 5-6 1000mps D-Links live, and a couple more on the shelf.

It's still relatively inexpensive and, while the TiVo he has only supports 100, the Plus/Pro does 1000 and it doesn't hurt to be prepared for the future.

BTW, I have three of them.
