I was having a problem with the Xbox One TV app constantly saying it lost my cable signal and to check the wires. It would happen a couple of times a day.
Solution: I went into display settings and changed it from the one that said auto or detect to the one that didn't. So in my case from 1080p (detect) to 1080p.
(sorry if I forgot the exact label, but it should be fairly obvious.)
It's been a few weeks and I haven't seen it happen since. Not sure if this was just a problem with the TIVO and Xbox or any "cable box" and Xbox.
