TWC Dropping Channel - Any Way To Counter This?

Hi all,

My area TWC provider is dropping beIN2, one of the reasons I switched to TWC in the first place. As a subscriber, do I have any recourse or ability to get this channel back? Why is TWC removing channels at all? Shouldn't they increase over time?

Unless enough people complain, there's not much you can do. For every channel TWC provides, they pay a per subscriber fee to the channel owner. For something like ESPN, it's $4+ per subscriber last I saw. For other smaller networks, they're often bundled together with popular channels from the same broadcaster and carry smaller per channel fees.

TWC must feel that the number of users actually watching beIN2 doesn't warrant the expense of offering it.
