TV shows in which the cast has great chemistry

Leverage will never be in my top 10 tv show list but I think the five main characters have some of the best onscreen chemistry of any show I watch. They all interact very well with each other. I think they're all good in their roles. I don't wish one or two of them would just go away like I do with some other really good shows.

What do you think?

I feel this same way about Community and Happy Endings. Funny how all my drama shows I could do without a character or two but both these shows every single one is awesome alone or with the others in SL.

Agreed.

When they announced that they'd be doing TNG, everyone from ordinary fans like me to all the TV critics were saying, "No matter how good the scripts, actors, effects, production values, etc. are, there's no way they'll get the cast chemistry that the original had."

Then, around the time the third season rolled around, the same "everyone" mentioned above was saying, "Well, I'll be damned! They did it!"

Some other shows that I think had excellent cast chemistry:
  • Fawlty Towers
  • Andy Richter Controls the Universe
  • All in the Family
  • A&E Presents A Nero Wolfe Mystery (at least as good as the two Star Trek series mentioned).

Except for Ellie, in my opinion. She can disappear as far as I'm concerned.

Parenthood - the writing has veered off a bit this season, but the cast feels so much like a family it's easy to buy into...

I have to agree about this.

Old shows?

Cheers definitely comes to mind. That's a cast that I always thought have fun together.

Speaking just in the present:

NCIS
Blue Bloods
Fringe

There are several others that almost are there, and need at least one more year. Of course, it's by no means certain that Fringe will get another season.

I disagree. While I liked cheers, it seemed like the people involved didn't get along well.

I think that the Cast of Glee has great chemistry. They must to survive two years of back to back filming with two concert two between them.

Community - great chemistry? Really?

I think the group might have good chemistry except for Pierce (definitely) and Britta (possibly). The rest, sure.
