"Return to Downton Abbey" tonight on PBS

Includes behind the scenes, interviews, "fond memories" of past seasons, and a "tantalizing taste" of the upcoming Season 4.

Nice recap. Had forgotten some key events.
No real Season Four info of note. As usual 30 of the 90 minutes was a PBS donation pitch.

I still haven't watched season 3. I am such a slacker.

I thought Season 4 was a step down in entertainment from the previous 3 seasons.

Hopefully the Christmas episode is not such a downer as last year.

Wasn't my favorite, but I still found it entertaining. Looking forward to re-watching.

I bailed out at the first pledge break. I decided I didn't need the recap and didn't want the spoilers.

I'm with you...Having already seen season 4 via "other means",
Spoiler:
I'd say that the season was not as good as seasons 1 or 3, but better than season 2. I just never cared for the whole WWI story arc of that season. Of course, that said,
Spoiler:
this season didn't really get 'interesting' until episode 3. And I always knew that
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
B would find out and get even.

Wise choice, the pledge whining went on and on and onů
I needed the recap
There were no real spoilers for the season

I skip the pledge breaks - sort of like they're extended commercials or something.

I love seeing the characters in modern hairstyles and makeup. Sometimes I hardly recognize them.

The hair and makeup people make her look just like a Victorian painting!

Same here. For some reason I just can't watch it on PBS I think they must edit it for time for broadcast in the US.

Yep, they have to make room for all those pledge breaks.
