keeping tivo roamio cool

I have an 4 tuner OTA/cable Roamio. I notice it tends to get a bit on the warm side. I was wondering if anyone has any DIY or store bought solutions to keep it cooler.

Since I don't use the cablecard, I removed the bottom plastic cablecard cover then placed the roamio on a laptop chill pad. The fans of the laptop chill pad are now blowing air to keep things cooler. Although the air circulation is certainly better, I would like to see it improved further.

I'm interested in getting feedback from everyone who may be using a similar solution to get better/improved ideas.

thank you.

I think you are worried about something that you don't need to worry about. What is the operating temp of the box?

In one room I have a two tuner Premiere and a four tuner Roamio. The MBT on the Premiere is 37C and the Roamio is 40C. The room is 75F. The Roamio was usually 39C until I put a 1TB drive into it. I am not worried. Also, I used to have a Sony DVR in the same spot and it was usually 95F as reported by the HDD S.M.A.R.T. diags. It had a much bigger fan.

My S3 648 runs at a low of 40c (winter) & 51C (summer.)
TiVo will complain when it gets too hot.
